Deuba’s Gyalpo Lhosar greetings

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that we have the harmonious tradition of respecting every festival celebrating in the country.

In his message on the occasion of the Gyalpo Lhosar today, the NC President said that different ethnic communities have their own unique traditions, custom and festivals adding that Gyalpo Lhosar of the Sherpa community is one of the important festivals of this community living in the country’s northern Himalayan region. 

Saying that Nepal is a multiethnic, multicultural, multilingual and multi-religious country, President Deuba has extended best wishes to all Nepalis for their happiness, peace and prosperity on the occasion of Gyalpo Lhosar (New Year). 

Maoist center chair dahal extend Gyalpo Lhosar best wishes

Kathmandu : Chairperson of CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has extended best wishes to all Nepalis including the Sherpa community on the occasion of the Gyalpo Lhosar festival today. 

In his festival greetings today, the leader said the celebrations of the festival will inspire us for strengthening national unity based on identity and rights by assimilating the diverse features of the Nepali society. 

The former Prime Minister, through social site, extended best wishes to Nepalis at home and abroad on the occasion of the festival that is celebrated by the Sherpa and the Buddhist community as the commencement of a new year.
