Rupandehi: Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Arzu Rana Deuba visited Lumbini, the birthplace of Lord Buddha, this afternoon.
Vice-Chairman of Lumbini Development Trust (LDT) Dr Lhyarkyal Lama (Khenpo Chhime) received Minister Dr Rana in Lumbini.
During her visit to Lumbini, Dr Rana paid homage to Mayadevi Temple and observed the Ashok Pillar and Pushpakarani Pokhari (pond) there.
On the occasion, Vice-Chairman Dr Lama apprised the minister of the development efforts and other activities of the LDT in Lumbini.
Urban Development Minister of Lumbini Province Saroj Thapa accompanied Foreign Minister Dr Rana.
