National Security Council’s reports presented in NA

Kathmandu: The sixth and seventh reports of the ‘National Security Council’ for the two previous fiscal years: 2079/ 80 BS (2022/23) and 2080-81 BS (2023/24)  have been presented in the National Assembly (NA). 

Minister for Defence, Manbir Rai, on behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, presented the documents in the Friday’s session of the upper house. 

Similarly, the meeting endorsed a proposal to send the “Banking Offenses and Punishment (second amendment) Bill 2080 BS’ that was obtained from the House of Representatives along with the message to the Legislation Management Committee for clause-wise deliberations.  The proposal tabled by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, was endorsed by the session unanimously.

The NA shall meet again at 1:15 pm on March 9.
