Gulmi: The Tamghas-Ridi road section of Gulmi along the Madan Bhandari Highway is to be closed for a month.
According to the Madan Bhandari Highway Project Office, the section will remain closed for a month for widening the road in the Thuldhunga area of Rurukshetra rural municipality.
Ramesh Chaudhary, chief engineer and chief of the road office, informed that the vehicular operation would be completely halted along the road section from April 5 to May 4.
Though the Tamghas-Ridi section has been closed, alternative routes have been provided to the vehicles, he said.
Engineer Chaudhary further informed that arrangements have been made for an alternative route from PanitankiThorga-Syalpokhari-Syalbisauna to Ratamata road.
