HoR continues deliberations on priorities, principles on Appropriation Bill   

Kathmandu: Deliberation on principles and priorities of the Appropriation Bill for the coming fiscal year 2025/26 shall continue in the meeting of the House of Representatives tommorrow.   

In today’s meeting, lawmaker Mahesh Basnet suggested that the budget should focus on the country’s development and prosperity.   

Similarly, Gyanu Basnet Subedi shared that principles and priorities of the budget are excellent for physical infrastructure development as well as management of land, market and storage of agro products.   

Likewise, Surya Prasad Dhakal mentioned that the budget has forwarded plans that give results, adding it has tried to improve the framework of education, health, infrastructures and economy.   

Saraj Pharuki drew government’s attention to keep remote and underprivileged areas in priority while suggesting to make arrangement of budget for disaster management.   

Saraswoti Subba stressed on the need of collaborating with local levels to reduce climate change impact.   

The HoR would meet next at 11:00 am on Thursday.
