No issues in NC-UML government: Home Minister Lekhak

Kathmandu: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has said that the coalition government major partners, the Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML), have no issues in the operation of the government. 

Speaking at a programme organised by the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) at Rajbiraj of Saptari today, the Minister made it clear that the NC-UML partnership won’t be discontinued. “It will be further strengthened, instead.” 

He further claimed that the country is advancing to political stability and good governance. “The incumbent government has continued with efforts to bring the economy back on track. The remaining works of the peace process are being concluded. Enactment of laws and strengthening of federalism is the top priority of the government,” he added.
