According to the police, a truck (Na 7 Kha 9398) heading to west from east collided with a bus (Lu 2 Kha 2351) and a pickup (Na 5 Cha 2275) moving to the same direction at around 12:40 am today.
Nawalparasi: Three people died and other 15 were injured in a road accident occurred this morning along the East-West Highway in Bardaghat Municipality-4, Daunne of Nawalparasi (West).
According to the police, a truck (Na 7 Kha 9398) heading to west from east collided with a bus (Lu 2 Kha 2351) and a pickup (Na 5 Cha 2275) moving to the same direction at around 12:40 am today.
As reported the bus and the truck then fell off the road while the pickup remained on the roadside.
Senior Superintendant of Police (SSP) Tirtha Raj Paudel informed that Govin Budha, aged around 25, from Bagmara, Rolpa; a man at his 25–26, and another man trapped in the bus died in the accident.
He shared that two of the deceased have yet to be identified.
Among 15 people injured in the accident, 13 have been sent to Lumbini City Hospital in Butwal for further treatment, while two are receiving treatment at Chisapani Hospital. —
