Former Chief Justice says Nepal is culturally rich

Rupandehi: Former Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli has asserted that Nepal stands as the richest country in the world regarding civilization, culture, and values.

During the Enlightened Citizens’ Seminar–2082 BS held in Bhairahawa today, he argued that sustainable development is unattainable without the foundation of proper values. Parajuli further highlighted that attempting to convert individuals to different religions through various temptations, undue influence, or inappropriate actions constitutes a serious offense, warranting strict penalties for those involved.

The seminar also featured insights from former Additional Inspector General (AIG) of Nepal Police Kalyan Kumar Timilsina, head priest of Muktinath Dham Naya Gaun, Lokananda Saraswati Maharaj, and Rajkumar Gurung, a national executive member of the Hindu Volunteer Association, Nepal, among others.
