Kavre — Dhulikhel Hospital has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dhulikhel Municipality to ensure effective coordination and optimal utilization of the Municipal Hospital located at Kavrebhanjyang, Dhulikhel.
The agreement aims to strengthen community-based healthcare services by improving access to quality medical care, optimizing available resources, and enhancing coordination between an academic healthcare institution and the local government.
Hospital officials stated that the collaboration would contribute to delivering people-centered healthcare services closer to the community. The partnership is also expected to improve health outcomes by ensuring efficient service delivery at the municipal level.
Furthermore, the initiative is seen as a potential model for other municipalities across Nepal seeking to strengthen local healthcare systems through institutional collaboration.
