ANO draws govt.’s attention on security of Nepalis working in Middle East countries

Kathmandu- The Association of Nepali Origin (ANO) has drawn attention of the government asking it to pay attention on security of Nepalese working in the countries in the Middle East in recent period.

A conference of ANO held in Hong Kong on Saturday passed a proposal that the government should pay special attention to and make necessary efforts towards security of Nepalese residing in the Middle East countries in the context of security challenge seen in the world.

The conference also passed the proposal that mutual unity among all Nepali language speaking citizens in the world and such power should be used in the welfare of Nepal by protecting and promoting Nepali origin people.

Hong Kong’s First Nepalese District Councilor First Nepali of Hong Kong government, Aruna Gurung, and ANO’s International Committee General-Secretary Chuda Mani Bhattarai inaugurated the conference where a large number of Nepali origin and Nepali speaking people living in Hong Kong had participated, reads a press release issued by ANO.

On the occasion, ANO’s International Committee General-Secretary Bhattarai, member Khusi Gurung and District Councilor Aruna Gurung, wished the ANO for its success to connect Nepali origin people no matter in which countries they were born and raised, and transferring culture.
The ANO was established on 2024 under leadership of Dilli Adhikari residing in USA.
