Kathmandu: The parliamentary party (PP) meeting of the ruling Nepali Congress (NC) held today discussed the issues of formulation and allocation of the upcoming fiscal year’s budget.
The meeting presided over by NC President and PP leader Sher Bahadur Deuba discussed the upcoming year’s annual budget and different other issues, Chief Whip of PP Shyam Kumar Ghimire said.
“The lawmakers put forth their candid views seeking a balanced budget with the proportionate allocation for sectoral development,” Ghimire said after the meeting.
Asked about the alliance with the CPN (Maoist Centre), Chief Whip Ghimire said there was no plan and agenda too to forge an alliance with the Maoist Centre.
The NC has no mentality and plan for the change in government.
Sharing that the governor of the central bank will be appointed in some days, Ghimire said that issues of MPs Maya Rai and Mohan Bahadur Basnet were raised at the meeting.
