Kathmandu: The government is going to provide free visa to foreign students coming to study in Nepal.
This proposal has been made in the budget for the fiscal year 2082/83 presented by Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel in the federal parliament today.
This is the first time that visa-free arrangements are being facilitated for foreign students coming to study in Nepal. This is expected to encourage foreign students coming to study in Nepal.
The government has adopted a policy to attract foreign students to different universities in the country.
