Kathmandu: The Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) has entered into a five-year long-term partnership with the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office (KVTPO) to enhance the capacity of traffic police personnel across the Kathmandu Valley.
Under the agreement, NAIMA will provide regular training to all 1,651 traffic police personnel, focusing on soft skills development and education on new vehicle technologies. The initiative aims to strengthen service delivery, improve interaction with road users, and keep traffic police updated with evolving automobile technologies.
The training program is scheduled to begin from Magh 4, 2082.
Both NAIMA and KVTPO have stated that the collaboration is dedicated to promoting road safety, strengthening human capital, encouraging responsible mobility, and ultimately saving lives on Nepal’s roads.
