‘Nature Meets Science’ at Dhulikhel Hospital: SYAAHAAR Plant-Based Skincare Expo Held

Dhulikhel — Dhulikhel Hospital, in collaboration with Torrens University Australia, has successfully organized a skincare expo showcasing its own plant-based skincare brand SYAAHAAR, under the theme “Nature Meets Science.” The expo was held at the premises of Dhulikhel Hospital.

Developed through a thoughtful integration of nature and scientific research, SYAAHAAR skincare products are described as scientifically proven, carefully formulated, and human-skin friendly. Made primarily from medicinal herbs and indigenous plants, the products aim to promote healthy, radiant, and glowing skin.

Targeting the winter season, SYAAHAAR has also introduced additional skincare products to address seasonal skin concerns. According to dermatologists and venereology specialists, most SYAAHAAR products meet high-quality standards, are safe for human skin, and offer an effective alternative to imported skincare brands. Experts note that, compared to Indian and other commercial products, SYAAHAAR stands out as both cost-effective and superior in quality.

A distinctive feature of SYAAHAAR is its community-oriented production model. Raw materials are sourced from local farmers, and women from local communities are actively involved in the production process. This approach contributes to local livelihoods and strengthens women’s economic empowerment. As a result, consumers purchasing SYAAHAAR products indirectly support Nepali communities, particularly women.

According to Sachin Makaju, Administrative Officer of SYAAHAAR, the revenue generated from product sales is allocated to support the treatment of economically disadvantaged patients at Dhulikhel Hospital and its outreach centers. He further emphasized that all SYAAHAAR products are entirely plant-based, free from animal-derived ingredients, and cruelty-free, with no animal testing involved at any stage of production.

Following the Dhulikhel event, another SYAAHAAR Skincare Expo is scheduled to take place on January 23 at Labim Mall, Pulchowk, Lalitpur. Visitors will be able to purchase products with a 20 percent discount during the expo period. Organizers have invited the public to participate and experience high-quality, ethical, and locally produced skincare solutions.
