President Ram Chandra Paudel conducted puja at various shrines of the Kathmandu Valley and received tika and prasad on the occasion of the ongoing 10-day long Bada Dashain festival today.
The first lady Sabita Paudel accompanied the President during the visit to shrines.
The President’s Secretariat shared information that the President Paudel visited the major shrines as Naxal Bhagawati, Guheshwori, Maitidevi, Kalikasthan, Bhadrakali, Naradevi, Raktakali, Indrayani and Shova Bhagawati.
The festival is a special occasion to worship various forms of Goddess Durga. The devotees thronged the Durga temples during the Dashain festival.
